Sorry, Musampa, I got to eliminate your Butterflies from this tournament as I saw that robywave1971's Stars got too much luck today :)
Game between Stars and Pirates were played a little bit earlier due to time zone differences :) It was not a pleasure to see how my Pirates were defeated by Stars in a close game. So I had to give an extra orders to my Kangaroos. Anyway, it was a good match :)
In general, North America clubs (Youngers and Rookies) are usually the strongest clubs. So, it is fun to see how team#1 from Asia Pacific Youngers beats team#1 from North America Youngers.
Knock-out games today :) Best teams reached this point of competition. Now it is not allowed to lose a game. The winner is the only one team, which will perform perfectly and be able to beat all other basketball clubs :)
Today is semi-finals day and what do we have here? :) Well, well... two really exciting games!
E N O Youngers vs Dragon Minx Boats Situation is identical to Youngers Division Cup, cause these two teams met there. Youngers were stronger a little bit at that time and forced Minx Boats to satisfy with bronze medals only. Of course, bronze is a huge achievement, but I believe that Minx Boats were prepared to fight for gold at that time. This is their chance. GOVZANGIEF will try to do everything in order to be able participate in second finals of international tournament this season. Besides, he has something to tell to Mackey as he was defeated in final game of Youngers Division Cup. But maybe it's Dragon's time? This club has lots of potential. Last season Minx Boats won silver medals everywhere. This season Minx Boats has bronze already from Youngers Division Cup. I am sure Minx Boats players and their fans dreams about more that bronze this time. Will that happen this time?
Ck The Final Syndicate vs Pocket Aces This one is very interesting :) The pride of CK, perfectionist and most fearsome opponent for anyone in this league - Mackey :) This situation becomes even more interesting, because Mackey faces Ivyt21 today. And not so long time ago Ivyt21 defeated Mackey's Syndicate in league match 101-82 in Mackey's home arena. Of course, in their first match up, Ivyt21 was defeated 107-85 in his home arena :) So laddies and gentlemen, these guys has something to tell to each other, especially on court. And we are waiting for extremely interesting game between these two clubs! Good luck! We will have a lot of fun watching you guys fighting each other! :)
So, guys... Pools were a kindergarten :) Now it's a real challenge, because of importance of every single match. Every winner goes to the next round while loser must wait for the next season and think about better tactics and training sessions.
This season there are lots of strong teams. Few really exciting games will be played today, where you cannot be sure which team will be winner. Good luck everyone! ;)
Today we gonna see two semi-final games. Two teams - Marvel SFL Team and Universidad De La Vida - are from Euro East Youngers league. That is a great achievement for this league.
Soon we will know finalists of Legend Wannabees. But this is also a very nice achievement for all of these clubs to go so far this season. Good luck for all clubs!
As expected, situation is still not clear till the end of the last match in Pool D. Two teams - West Baltimore All Stars and Oxford Owls - are candidates to go to the next round, because both of them has 3 wins and 3 losses. And today gonna be a tough day. All Stars must win today in order to go to the next stage of Legend Wannabees. It will be really hard, cause All Stars opponent is Apocalypse club managed by nooterz. Anyway, winning in this match might be not enough for bigdaddydale and his company, cause truecenter with his Owls will play against Oklahoma Red Star's which is one of outsiders in Pool D. And if All Stars and Owls both wins today, then difference between made and allowed points will be a deciding factor. Good luck guys! You both are worth to play in knockout games.
Pool A and Pool F also has interesting situations, cause two best teams plays against each other.
Pool A: Marvel SFL Team vs Melbourne Kangaroos Both are in 1st position in their national championships and this might be a really interesting match. Marvel SFL Team has a huge advantage, cause they have really high valued players, one of them even higher than 40. In general Marvel's team has higher value by almost 8, especially when their manager is adrijus.g. A big challenge for Dungeon's Kangaroos, but these creatures will try to overjump even such a marvellous players ;)
Pool D: Universidad De La Vida vs The Young Mucks The Young Mucks players and their manager Joshthehoss is currently in 1st position in Standings of Greater Asia Youngers. That shows how well built this team is as they could overcome such team as Apocalypse in their national championship. Universidad De La Vida is manager acojonante and currently holds 2nd position in Euro East Youngers. This manager is very experienced and this team already proved how strong it is by winning silver medals in Youngers Division Cup this season.
As always it is a pleasure to watch games in Pool D. Today will not be an exception, cause there are few exciting games:
Oxford Owls vs Universidad Sonics truecenter after a close match against All Stars in national championship and Crack13 after an easy game. I believe that Sonics players might have more strength left after national championship match. But Owls should be really inspired by their successful games lately and high performance. Sonics club really needs this win, cause currently they are in 5th position and they need to move up in order to be able to participate after all Pool stage.
Another great match: West Baltimore All Stars vs Dragon Minx Well... these guys indeed have something to tell to each other :) Minx won their first game, but All Stars won their second match in North America Youngers. So tied 1-1 :) I believe that both of them are willing to prove that their losses was just a coincidence. Confrontation between these two clubs and between bigdaddydale and Dragon is always one of the most exciting things :) Have a great match guys. And we all gonna have a pleasure time watching you :)
Pool H is the only one pool where there are still 3 teams without any loss. But not for long, cause today CK Colorado Tigers (manager feedme) and Etar-veliko Tarnovo (manager Stanimir Dimitrov) will play against each other. I would say that Tigers is a favourite team in this match, but we should not underestimate Tarnovo club, cause they have skills needed, so everything is in their hands. Good luck! ;)
And you should always keep an eye on games where this great guy GOVZANGIEF plays. His E N O Youngers will face Melbourne Kangaroos. Despite the fact that Kangaroos club has one season older players, Youngers players has so much potential that sometimes even older players cannot compete against them. We gonna see a persistent fight in this match, no doubt about that.
These games I just mentioned is just a part of all the shows tonight. Keep an eye on your clubs and players and other participants of this international competition ;)
I would say that Pool D is the toughest this season in Legend Wannabees. Just take a look what teams participates in this pool. 5 great basketball clubs with active human managers: - Dragon Minx (manager Dragon) is 2nd team in North America Youngers - Oxford Owls (manager truecenter) is 4th team in North America Youngers - West Baltimore All Stars (manager bigdaddydale) is 5th team in North America Youngers - Apocalypse (manager nooterz) is 2nd team in Greater Asia Youngers - Universidad Sonics (manager Crack13) is 3rd team in Euro East Youngers
As you can see 3 of these teams are from North America Youngers league and from the list of best 5 teams. And as you probably know, this is a very tough league and being in top 6 really means a lot. Other two clubs are from Asia and Europe, but also in top positions in national leagues. Besides, their team values are really good.
So, take an extra ordinary attention to this group, cause games there could be really amazing :)
And so we have Finals day of Legend Wannabees. It will be a challenge for Kangaroos team as far as Legends team was never beaten before this season. And it will be a duty for Legends team to defend this unbeaten-team title in this Final match. Best of luck for both teams!
I'd say that most interesting game is: Youngers vs Legends. Yougers are extremely strong lately. But Legends team is unbeaten one. So, which of these teams will go further. We'll find out that soon :)
Well Dungeon, you got my young ones. Let's see if I can get you with my mixed team of a little older ones. I have a feeling we'll take you for a ride lol. :D Nice win with the Tigers though. Think you'll find this one more interesting as far as I can tell though. :D
